各地温度持续走低，特别是部分北方地区温度都下降到零度以下，进入冰冻期，因PVC管材在温度较低时低温脆性明显，易发生破管现象，现就PVC管材冬季使用注意事项说明如下：
一、管材搬运：
严格规范产品搬、运、装、卸管理，不得出现抛、摔、滚、拖现象，以防止对产品造成伤害。尤其在卸车过程中一定要轻搬轻放，运输至工地后要妥善保管，防止管材与尖锐物体接触摩擦。人员务必不能在管材上，以上行为会造成管道内壁龟裂，打压时出现多处爆管情况。
二、管沟挖掘：
1、管沟挖掘应考虑当地冻土深度，管线必须埋入冻土层以下，管线埋地深度一般在1.2～1.5米以下；管沟挖掘之宽度，应视管材外径，沟底宽为管外径加300毫米为宜；施工时不得人为践踏管材。
2、沟底应整理平整，不得有石块、砖块等杂物，如有坚硬物时必须加挖10cm并填沙夯实，然后再进行管线安装施工。管线弯曲时应在允许角度2°以内，不得出现管材的硬性弯曲现象。
三、管材铺设：
下管前检查管材是否损伤（特别承口与插口端），如有损伤及时更换，按规定削角（TS管:30-45°,活套管：20°）。不能把管材、件抛入沟中，应轻搬轻放。
