II. Preparation Before Starting
1. Check the foundation bolts if they are firm.
2. Check the degree of tightness of drive belt and check the
installation if it is suitable.
3.Check the water–in and outpipes if they are leaking water and air.
4.Check the degeree of tightness of padding if it is suitable.
5.Check the
motor and pump axile lead if they are in the same line and check the direction
of rotation of motor if it is the same with the rotation direction of pump.
6.Check the
pump if there are barriers , if the axile locks, there should be no noises when
turing it by hand.

. 在地理环境许可的条件下，水泵应尽量靠近水源，以减少吸水管的长度。水泵安装处的地基应牢固，对固定式泵站应修专门的基础。
2.进水管路应密封可靠，必须有支撑，不可吊在水泵上。装有底阀的进水管，应尽量使底阀轴线与水平面垂直安装，其轴线与水平面的夹角不得小于45°。水源为渠道时，底阀应高于水底0.50米以上，且加网防止杂物进入泵内。
3. 机、泵底座应水平，与基础的联结应牢固。机、泵皮带传动时，皮带紧边在下，这样传动，水泵叶轮转向应与箭头指示方向一致；采用联轴器传动时，机、泵必须同轴线。
